After concluding her two-day visit to India, Ivanka Trump shared a heartfelt post on Instagram to thank the country.
and thanked the country in a heartfelt post on Instagram on Wednesday. Along with her husband Jared Kushner, father US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, Ivanka arrived in Ahmedabad on February 24 and departed the next day.
After returning to the US from India, Ivanka shared a picture with Jared Kushner from her Taj Mahal visit, and said in the caption, “Thank you, India!” The picture is a candid shot of Ivanka and Jared holding hands in the backdrop of the Taj Mahal.

While her post garnered millions of likes, Ivanka’s admirers thanked her for visiting India in the comments section. “Thanks for coming to India…hope to see you soon again,” a comment read. Another user said, “We love you, from India.”
After landing in Ahmedabad, Ivanka attended the Namaste Trump cultural event at Motera Stadium and subsequently headed to Agra to tour the Taj Mahal, before flying out to Delhi.
On February 25, Ivanka was one of the first guests to arrive for Donald Trump’s ceremonial reception at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. She made a stunning appearance in an off-white sherwani and pants designed by Anita Dongre.
In the evening, Ivanka attended the banquet dinner at the Rashtrapati Bhavan with Jared that was hosted by President Ram Nath Kovind in honour of Donald Trump. For the dinner, Ivanka was elegant in an anarkali suit from the shelves of Rohit Bal.
After the dinner, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, along with Donald Trump and Melania, departed for the US.
