Melania Trump ditched her favourite stilettos for flight to India and instead chose a pair of flats that cost Rs 65k.
famous for her exquisite wardrobe choices. It is no secret that Mrs Trump aka Flotus loves her stilettos. She is a fan of Christian Louboutins and Manolo Blahniks in particular.
But she left her followers surprised when she ditched her heels for a pair of flats for her flight to India. Melania wore a pair of Roger Vivier’s Belle Vivier flats in white.
These flats became hugely popular and a statement symbol in the 1960s when Catherine Deneuve, a French actress wore them in the movie ‘Belle de Jour.’

The classic shoes in cream colour and black outline have a very old school feeling with the large buckle on top. The online retail store Net-a-Porter is selling the flats for Rs 64,299 (USD 895).
Melania’s outfit consisted of a black turtle neck sweater which she teamed with a pair of white and black striped pants matching her flats. She completed the outfit with a long black coat.

For accessories, she opted for a pair of black shades. Her glam contained her signature middle-parted freshly blow-dried hair and a subtle makeup look.
Melania Trump is all set to join the long list of US first ladies visiting the Taj Mahal. We cannot wait to see what she will be wearing during her visit.
